I would call and check
When will Darlin Jeans’s be opening again? It says stay tuned on the front door...
If you can get them to answer their phone the food is decent. But good luck getting them to answer.
I go to Darlin Jean's for the onion rings. I always get one or more orders for the table. My favorite entree is Vidalia Chicken, which includes 4 more onion rings. My husband loves the fish and chips.
Staff was very nice! Long wait time. Atmosphere nice. Food was OK and nothing exceptional.
I was remembering places I ate on my vacation to Kentucky and I remembered this gem. This restaurant has amazing food, amazing staff, and a great feel to it. I’m so glad that we stumbled across it on our trip!
We visited on Friday night, and the food was DELICIOUS!!! Well, all but the hot brown. It was more of a gravy instead of cheese sauce as I have traditionally had. But it was average. On the other hand, the Po Boy my 12 yr old son got was PHENOMENAL with delicious handmade potato chips!!!! I mean AMAZING!!! My husband got the beef sandwich that was tasty, and the potato cassarole was again PHENOMENAL!!!!!! We will be going back Friday just so I can get the Po Boy and potato casserole We will driving from Georgetown!!!! Definitely worth the drive!!!
Was offered catfish as the Special, ordered then found out they were out of it. Upgraded to the ribeye special which was delicious but twice the price. Service was slow, didn't receive silverware even after asking for some, asked for no tomatoes on salad but there they were. I would try it again because the food was good.
Excellent food! I have trouble finding places that can actually cook a medium rare burger and this place did it perfectly. Everything we tried was really high quality. Very relaxed atmosphere, will definitely go back!
My partner and I had a wonderful dinner at Darlin Jean’s. We arrived at 5pm in a Wednesday evening just as they were reopening for dinner service. The building itself is welcoming and is located in a beautiful little section of Midway. There seemed to be a wide variety of meals to choose from and our waitress was incredibly sweet and helpful. Of course we also tried the cobbler— Cherry and apple— and fell in love with the flavor! This is the perfect spot for a couple to have a casual meal and focus on one another. The restaurant was clean and fairly quiet, and the food was served quickly, tasted fresh, and filled us up. We will definitely return.
First time experience here. Had to wait 15 mins to get our drinks ordered. Food was over priced for what it was. I took maybe 3 bites of mine and was very disappointed. the potato casserole was nothing like a loaded bake potato. Too creamy. Husband had fish and chips. He was satisfied with his. We weren't charged for our drinks, so that was an added bonus ,i liked the legacy on the menu and the family atmosphere but I probably won't be back.
Delicious! We shared the Big Ron burger and the Debri. We told the waitress we were going to split them and she had the kitchen split it for us. And since we like different things she also put all of the toppings on the side. Very nice staff, very cozy place to eat, and delicious food. Never been to Midway Kentucky before the Railroad Street is a darling place to visit.
